Since the release of GoPro Hero 4 series of sports action cameras, the internet has been buzzing about what the next installment of the company’s flagship cameras will bring.

The report also claims that GoPro Inc. has delayed their camera because they want to change some features and add better upgrades so that they can be better than the other cameras in the market right now. But there is no news of exactly which features will be getting upgraded.
There is also no confirmation from the company yet about the exact release date for GoPro Hero 5, but it seems unlikely that the date will be pushed any further than this year.
A number of new features are going to be added to this new version of the GoPro Hero and it is definitely going to be an upgrade from its predecessors and many websites on the internet have reported of the various new features the next GoPro will be carrying.
One of the biggest upgrades will be its ability to record up to 8K resolution at 30 fps, and it will also record in 4K at 60fps and 1080p at 240fps. The camera will be equipped with a more advanced processor and will have an A10 chip.

The camera will even have an increased waterproof capacity with up to 60 meters, as opposed to the GoPro Hero 4 that only has 20 meters.
Christian Post has also claimed that the size of the camera may be redesigned and made smaller and lighter to better fit drones, and more portable and user friendly.
As of now it has been reported that the GoPro Hero 5 can cost anything from $400 to $550, but nothing about its features or price has been confirmed by GoPro
